What can a patient expect during a CoolMini treatment?
CoolMini treatments are non-invasive and very simple. During your treatment, the CoolMini will be held in place to treat your chin area for about an hour, depending on the individual.
After treatment, you’ll have nothing more than some redness and you can continue on with your day as normal, with no downtime.
How many CoolMini treatments are needed to see optimal results?
Most patients find that two or more CoolMini treatments are required to see the desired effects, though visible changes can be seen between one to three months after a single treatment.
Individual results do vary, however, depending on the extent of fat removal desired and how each person’s body responds and discards the dead fat cells.
What is the difference between Kybella and CoolMini for chin fat reduction?
Both Kybella and CoolMini are methods of reducing fat under the chin. The methods in which that fat is disposed of, however, is very different.
Kybella is an injection beneath the chin that essentially dissolves fat cells. Those with under chin fat receive an injection of a substance that has the ability to destroy fat cells, and over time, the body discards of them, much like it does with dead fat cells from CoolSculpting.
CoolMini, however, requires no injections. Treatment is quick, effective, and there is no down time associated with it. Kybella may require icing and injection-site care.
